What a joy it was for us ... and MANY volunteers ... to
open our doors the Sunday before Thanksgiving and serve at hot turkey
meal with all the fixin's to over 120 people.
And then for our
Christmas meal we served almost 200! Not only were we able to provide
a hot meal, but we also gave out more than 50 food boxes, some
clothing and shoes, and over a case full of Bibles for those who asked
for one. From our vantage point, the highlight of each "feeding event"
was the volunteers from the community interacting with the clients ...
having lengthy conversations about anything and everything. Watching
some pray, others laughing, while some just relaxed and listened to
the live God honoring music from
Tale Music
as well as the students from
Nashua Christian Academy.
The late Dietrich Bonhoeffer once said,
"To allow the hungry man to remain hungry would be blasphemy." Indeed.
We cannot expect a person to be open and receptive to the love of God
when they're distracted with hunger pains ... and more. This Rescue
Mission exists for the sole purpose of reaching out to men, women and
children with the love of God, praying that they will find hope, joy,
and purpose for their lives in a relationship with God through His Son
Jesus Christ. |

Thank You!
We want to express our genuine thanks for all who gave their support
in order to get us started ministering to these dear souls. Time,
talent and treasures alike have all been valuable to us in order to
open our doors and hearts to the many men, women and children that are
in need. There is much still to be done. We thank God for your
support, and pray that He will continue to "send laborers into this
harvest!"
